A collaboration project with Tim George. Inspired
by John Chris Jones, who pioneered the concept of
'chance photos' in 1980, we visited three cities in early 2009 and devised our own system to document them
in an unbiased way.

We drew a 10x10 grid over each map and found some numbers in our immediate surroundings from which to generate grid references. By visiting these random locations, the cities were documented in a unique way.
The resulting photographic collections were bound as
soft cover books and presented in a bespoke case.
